Child & Adolescent Therapy

We offer assessments and ongoing intervention for children and adolescents. As a team, we are passionate about providing best practice, evidence-based interventions with the aim to help achieve the best possible outcome for each young person. We understand the importance of working within a child's system and therefore strive to work collaboratively with families and schools.

Our psychologist work with a range of presentations and a few examples include:

- Anxiety, worry and panic (e.g., generalised anxiety, health anxiety, social anxiety, panic

attacks, worry about making mistakes, and lots of "what if's").

- Low mood and depression

- Attachment and trauma

- Coping with frustration and anger

- Attention and impulsivity

- Behavioural concerns (at home and at school)

- Building confidence and self-esteem

- School refusal

- Difficulties sleeping independently

- Obsessions and compulsions

- Phobias

- Adjustments and complex early life experiences

- Parenting support and strategies

- Our psychologists also work close with children, and their families, on the Autism Spectrum and with children with Intellectual Disabilities.

These are only a few of the presentations we work with and please do not hesitate to send us an enquiry to further discuss if we are an appropriate service for your child.

We understand that each young person is unique and individualise our approach to each client, with the aim to help create a safe space for them to work towards their therapy goals.
